Grateful Sunday

Today I am thankful for the sound of laughter, particularly children's laughter.

Shad had a lot of High Council work to do today, so we did not see him until he came home at 3:00 pm. Usually he would have gone right to sleep, gotten up at 4:00, got ready, and been out the door for work. Instead, he decided to go in a few hours late for work so that he could spend some time with his family. After dinner and scriptures, Emily gave our FHE lesson (yeah - we had a FHE this week). To culminate the evening, we watched The Road To Morocco with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.

I am a HUGE old movie fan and saw this at our library. I grabbed it, hoping to share it with my kids.  The kids were laughing so hard during this movie. It was so fun to watch them laugh and to hear them giggle. It made my day!

(I also love the sound of laughter because it usually means an absence of the sound of crying!)
