This week's challenge was to provide a photo for the following caption:
"What was I thinking?!?"
Our dog Felicia is not the most trustworthy of souls when it comes to people food. When I have to leave her at home alone, I normally lock her up in her kennel or, at the very least, make sure that there is no food of any kind on any table. Well, yesterday I was in a rush, so I didn't put her in her kennel and I only gave a cursory glance at the kitchen and dining tables.
Here's what I found when I returned home:
THE CRIME SCENE

Don't be fooled by those puppy dog eyes! She's a hardened criminal.
THE INTERROGATION

it's a good thing i'm not a sucker for puppy dog eyes!!
my parents tell a funny story of leaving their dog alone one night with a bar of soap. who knew that dog would eat the bar of soap??
We use to have to dog proof the house before we left...all shoes put away, remotes up, food pushed back on the counter and all doors shut. Then we got a 2nd dog that knew how to open doors...that lasted 6 months and we had to get rid of him. Just when I thought I had the dog proofing down he blew it all to pieces. Good thing my dog didn't learn from him though!
Dogs are so funny.. They are just like kids & love to get into things they know they shouldn't..
poor puppy! that gum must have smelled pretty good (before she consumed it)! so frustrating! I'm private, but I'll share, email me! courtneymilius@hotmail.com
Hahaha! that's hilarious! Good thing it was sugar-free! You should ask Amber about her dog and bubble gum... it's a pretty funny story. And cute dog!
OMG you just gave me a good laugh!
Too funny...I loved it!
yuck! I can't even imagine what kind of mess you had to clean up!-
One of our kids got into the others christmas stockings and ate a whole pack of spearmint gum-
He smelled like mint for 3 days!
At least is was sugar free, right?
We have the same problem with our dog, but gum? I didn't know a dog would eat gum. Of course our dog would never find gum because my kids would get to it first for sure.
Oh, she's so sweet looking! I love your husbands comment about blowing bubbles out of her rear end! Cute story.
Looks like you had your hands full with the dog and lots of gum! By the way, your red shoes are way cute!
that happened with our dog one time - we left her in the car for a few minutes and when we came back she had snagged a pack from the console :)
also love those oatmeal, fudge brownies. I'll be making those soon, very soon!
