Yesterday, I did my hair just right and was happy with how I looked. However - I could NOT get a decent self-portrait for anything. I deleted EVERY SINGLE picture I took yesterday. I kept looking at the photos and saying "I don't really look like that, do I?!"
So, today, I had Shad take my picture. I wasn't too thrilled with his photos either. I can't seem to smile naturally and when I do smile, my tiny eyes look like they're closed. And why didn't he tell me I wasn't holding my head straight?!
I guess it all boils down to the fact that
I am NOT photogenic.
But here's a photo that I can live with being out in the blogging world.

(Although I wasn't laughing Friday when her pending "hiatus" from SPT was the final straw that threw me into a Friday Funk!)

I have a very hard time taking pics of myself...I am deathly pale skinned and very hard on myself...but that's why I joined in on SPT. Because I want to be more comfortable being in pictures. It will come!

I had a good laugh too when I read that Lelly had pulled a good one over on us...and boy was I relieved to find out it was all just a joke.
I'm on the road traveling right now and didn't do the SPT this week (maybe I was just rebelling due to her news)...but I ALWAYS complain about my pictures. You look darling...and I love your haircut! Too cute!

I love both of your pictures! You ARE too hard on yourself. Your pictures look great and knowing you as a person, you are great! I too am glad that the end of SPT was just a joke, I've just barely started thanks to you!
Fun pictures. It's funny how we think we don't look the way we look or talk the way we actually do talk. Whenever I hear a recording of myself I am sure that the dumb thing is broken. That can't really be me!
It's great that you have a husband that plays along and that your laughing again after the Friday funk!
