Peter's First Official Pinewood Derby

Peter has participated in a few Pinewood Derbies before, but never as a competitor. After the Cub Scouts had all raced, they would let anyone who wanted to come and race their car - no prizes, just for fun.

Well, Peter is now an official Cub Scout and so he got to compete in this year's Pinewood Derby. 

He made a Shark car.

Peter was in the first set of 7 boys who competed to see who would go on to the next round.

He raced his car three times, getting 2nd place once 

and 3rd place twice.

He had a lot of fun and cheered on his best friend William who ended up winning the Pinewood Derby.

Peter's car won The Most Unique Design award.
