Windy has been looking for ways to get me more involved in blogging because she enjoys it so much. She had recently discovered a blog titled "Take Out Photo" that poses a monthly challenge (sort of an SPT for people who want to work on their photographic skills).
I have been in sort of a motivational slump with photography lately. I have not really felt inspired by any subject and have had my camera sitting on the shelf for way too long, so I took this months challenge to make a grid.
Recently APS and Dion's put on a golf clinic for children at Balloon Fiesta Park (did you know they have a driving range there?). The kids all got to try their hand at swinging the irons and woods. (I have to admit, I think that Emily is better than I am.)
Anyway, here are some of the pictures from that day. I have not had a lot of time to edit or crop, but I figured that if I did not post it now, it was never going to get done.

I love the pictures Shad. All too often we forget to take pictures of our kids they way they really are, doing stuff. They look great and are really trying hard.
Thanks for doing the Monthly Special! I love seeing the results. I like how you've played with varying distances in the composition. Hope to see you doing future challenges as well.
