This recital was a little difficult for Emily because she has not been able to fully participate in class (due to injuries) for the past 2 months. Her dance instructor recommended that she take the summer off to let her ankle and hip heal completely.
We had signed Laura up for a summer ballet class, but she is absolutely refusing to go! We hoped taking her to the recital would change her mind, but her mind is made up. Mrs. Linda (Emily's instructor, who also would have taught Laura) will be able to breath easy now, though, as we had warned her of Laura's "wild child" status.
